Over the last couple of years, superstar Shah Rukh Khan is witnessing a rough journey at the box office. Despite lots of efforts and dedication his last release  Zero , tanked at the ticket windows. After staying quiet on the movie’s failure, Khan finally spoke in a recent interview about his fears and experimenting with roles. As per the report in Deccan Chronicle, Shah Rukh Khan stated, “My biggest fear is what if I became mundane and start doing boring things and films. I get very scared at times what I start doing mundane films. I hope the day never comes when I am so tired that I tell myself that it is ok to do just a regular film which will get made in 40 days, release soon, become a box office hit and I can buy myself a new car and be happy. That thought scares me”, Khan adds.

A long absence from home as Shah Rukh Khan discharges his duties as the owner of his Trinbago Knight Riders team, a part of Caribbean Premier League, is making the actor hark back to Steven Spielberg’s classic ET. The actor shared a photo on Monday night in which he can be seen using a payphone and wrote, “ET coming home....”. In the picture, we see SRK at a calling booth at his casual best, sporting a white T-shirt with a black jacket. Going with the tone of the caption, he was speaking to son AbRam perhaps. Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) co-owner Shah Rukh Khan had accused his  team for lacking spirit in KKR's defeat to Mumbai Indians  last week but the Bollywood superstar was a happy man following his team's crucial win over Kings XI Punjab on Saturday. Shah Rukh Khan took to Twitter and posted a special message for KKR captain Dinesh Karthik. Just after KKR's loss, Shah Rukh, who co-owns the team with actress Juhi Chawla and her husband Jay Mehta, took to Twitter and wrote an apologetic message to KKR fans. "Sports is about the spirit and wins/losses don't reflect that. But tonight as the 'Boss' I need to apologise to the fans for the lack of spirit," he wrote. The win against KKR took Rohit Sharma's team to level on points with KKR (10 points from 11 games) and fourth in the points table courtesy a better net run rate.
