Shah Rukh Khan Says Yes To The Rakesh Sharma Biopic On Aamir Khan's Recommendation?

Aamir Khan who was first intended to star in the Rakesh Sharma biopic titled Salute has been at the forefront of talking points in the Bollywood industry recently, and especially since Aamir Khan walked out of it. Then to fill the gaping hole left in the cast, swooped in another superstar in Shah Rukh Khan. The film that will be produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur and will be directed by Mahesh Mathai, had stressfree and amicable handover from Aamir to Shah Rukh as per reports. Well, more so because it was Aamir who strongly recommended Shah Rukh to do this film.

A source tells Deccan Chronicle, Aamir strongly recommended the Rakesh Sharma biopic to Shah Rukh as a script worth walking that extra mile for. More so, since Aamir intends to devote a substantial period of his time to a very dear project of his, presumably the Mahabharat, and has stopped accepting any other assignments currently

And Shah Rukh Khan is now signed up to play this role, after much discussions with Siddharth Roy Kapur. And this won’t be the first time the actor will be seen playing a role toying with outer space. Shah Rukh had played the role of a NASA engineer in Swades. The Ashutosh Gowariker directorial, in fact, recently celebrated 13 years of their film’s release.
