T10 Cricket League 2017: Complete Squads, Schedule, Match Timings And Venue Details of 10-Over-A-Side Tournament

Here are all the details of T10 Cricket League, which is all set to kick off in Sharjah, today.


Cricket will see a new dawn today, as T10 Cricket League, 10-over-a-side tournament, is all set to kick off in Sharjah. While the T20 format was introduced to make cricket more appealing, T10 aims to make the sport further entertaining. The franchise-based competition will be played in the UAE from December 14 to December 17.
The tournament will feature six teams and apart from scores of current cricketers, the teams also feature some former players like India s Virender Sehwag, former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi and former Sri Lankan captain Kumar Sangakkara. Some of the prominent players include Mohammad Amir, Shakib Al Hasan, Tamim Iqbal, Sarfraz Ahmed, Sunil Narine and Mustafizur Rahman, Keiron Pollard, David Miller, Hassan Ali, Dwayne Bravo, Darren Sammy.
The six teams namely, Maratha Arabians, Pakhtoons, Bengal Tigers, Kerala Kings, Punjabi Legends and Colombo Lions, mostly comprised of players from Pakistan, Bangladesh, Windies and UAE.

It should be noted that all the matches will take place at the Sharjah International Stadium, and each game will only be 90 minutes in length.
T10 Cricket League is the evolution of the cricket game, from 50 over games down to 10 over games. It is going to be the trendsetter since it is the shortest and the fastest game in the cricket history, each side is only given ten overs. The cricket sport is one of the most popular games in the world, and we believe the cricket supporters are ready to accelerate to this quick and enjoyable 90-minute format, stated the tournament s official website.
