Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, Other Mobiles Discounted on No.1 Mi Fan Sale, Re. 1 Flash Sales Teased


Xiaomi has announced the No.1 Mi Fan Sale, a Christmas and New Year sale that will be held from 12am IST Wednesday, December 20 to Thursday, December 21. The sale - being held on Mi.com - has some discounts on smartphones, power banks, cases, and accessories, apart from making several-hard-to-buy Xiaomi handsets available to buy during the sale. Re. 1 flash sales will also be held at 2pm on each day of the sale, with products like smartphones, VR headsets, routers, and fitness bands available at Re. 1. Buyers will also be able to grab discount coupons for accessories at 10am on each day.
Let's start with the discounted smartphones. During the sale, the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 will be available at Rs. 32,999 on Wednesday, down from Rs. 35,999, while the Mi Max 2 will be available at Rs. 12,999, down from Rs. 14,999. The Xiaomi Redmi 4 will be available with up to a Rs. 1,000 .discount on Wednesday, but isn't very clear at this moment which variant will be available at what price. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 and Redmi Y1 Lite are also listed with discounts, and once again, there is no clarity on what these will be. On Wednesday, 12pm, the Xiaomi Mi A1 Special Edition Red, Redmi 5A, and Redmi Y1 will become available to buy via Mi.com. An early access sale mi    users.


Xiaomi has also announced up to Rs. 100 off on cases and covers, discounts that are already available on the company's accessories store. As for discounts on other accessories, the 20000mAh Mi Power Bank 2i will be available at Rs. 1,499, down from Rs. 1,999 on Wednesday, while the 10000mAh Mi Power Bank 2i will be available at Rs. 799, down from Rs. 1,199 on the same day. The Mi Band HRX Edition Black will be available at Rs. 1,299, down from Rs. 1,799, on the same day.
The Chinese electronics firm has also detailed specific discounts for audio products on Wednesday. The Mi In-Ear Headphones Basic Matte will be available at Rs. 499, down from Rs. 599, while the Mi Capsule Earphones will be available at Rs. 899, down from Rs. 999. The Mi In-Ear Headphones Pro HD will be available at Rs. 1,799, down from Rs. 1,999, while the Mi Bluetooth Speaker Basic 2 will be available at Rs. 1,799, down from Rs. 2,699. Finally, the Mi Bluetooth Speaker mini will be available at Rs. 899, down from Rs. 1,299

Xiaomi is also offering discounts on 'smart home solutions', with the Mi Router 3C priced at Rs. 999 from its Rs. 1,199 price, the Mi Wi-Fi Repeater 2 priced at Rs. 799 down from Rs. 999. Other accessories like Mi Band Strap HRX Edition will be available at Rs. 199, down from Rs. 299, while the Mi Business Backpack will be available at Rs. 1,299 down from Rs. 1,499; the Mi Crewneck T-Shirt Black will be available at Rs. 499 down from Rs. 549; the Mi Car Charger will be available at Rs. 699 down from Rs. 999, and finally, the Mi VR Play 2 will be available at Rs. 1,299, down from Rs. 1,499.
For now, six products are eligible for the Re. 1 flash sales on Wednesday and Thursday, but only a few will win out to be available for Re. 1 on those days. These products are the Xiaomi Redmi 5A (2GB RAM, 16GB storage, Gold colour variant), Mi VR 2 Play Dark Grey, Mi Router 3C White, Redmi Y1 Lite (2GB RAM, 16GB Storage, Gold colour variant), Mi Wi-Fi Repeater 2 White, and, the Mi Band - HRX Edition Black. Finally, it appears all purchases will be eligible for up to a Rs. 4,000 SuperCash cashback if using MobiKwik wallet to pay, apart from a 3-month Hungama Play subscription, and a 12-month Hungama Music subscription. The terms and conditions of these offers have yet to be detailed.

Some of the leaks we have seen show a device with bezels much thinner than what is on the  Redmi 5  and  Redmi 5 Plus .
